The Beginning of My JOURNEY!!!

My name is Jerri. I am 36 years old. I am married to a wonderfully supportive husband Samuel. We have been married for 16 wonderful years. We have two children, Trevor 15 and Deonnah 12.
I have been contemplating gastric bapass since I can remember. I could never make my mind up to get the process started due to the complications and the idea of DYING!!!!! Now that the surgery is not so invasive and the complications are not gone but not as unsure, I have finally decided to start the process for myself.
I went to the seminar for Dr. Mailipur in Huntsville, Alabama. When he finished with his seminar I felt that I had made the right decision. He was very informative and friendly. He stayed after the seminar to answer any and all questions that any of us had for him.
My health use to be the best. However, it has deminished over the years. I have diabetes, PCOS, and underactive thyroid. I am tired of sitting on the sidelines. I want to be able to run and play with my kids. I want to take walks and be able to enjoy them.
I have met with Dr. M for my initial visit, have been tested for H-Poluri, and have started my six month medically supervised program that is requred by BCBS.
I can't wait until the day that I have been approved and I get to go ahead with my surgery.
