"I had been watching Dr. Garth Davis on his show Big Medicine and I liked his personality and bedside manner. When I met him in person at the seminar, I had that same feeling. He was really very personable. I felt confident that I was making the right choice. I originally had planned to do the band. I spoke to him regarding my concerns due to previous surgeries and scar tissue. After our conversations at my consultation and going through the nutrition classes, I changed to the RNY. He never tried to talk me into one or the other. He just told me the facts. My only concern was if he could do my surgery laproscopically because of all my scar tissue. He told me that they are well acquained with scar tissue and he would do his best. My surgery went without a hitch. rnDr. Davis was wonderful.After I went home, I had some problems with gas and constipation. I e-mailed him and he got back with me right away and told me what to do. Anytime I have had any problems (me or my daughter) he always responds quickly to the issue. He is a great surgeon."
