Hi! My name is Jessica. I'm newly married as of 05-16-10 to my wonderful Husband who is very supportive and 8 months post-opt with the LapBand. I don't have that much support other than him so I'm hoping to establish some great friendships here. I think my family and friends want to be supportive but would just rather me not have the surgery. I know they are worried about me but they should be more worried about how I am now if things don't change.
I'm about 6 months into my bariatric program. The only thing left is to get my date... which I'm very excited for and trying to be patient! 
LOL I have been researching and wanting to do this for over 5 years and I still can't believe that it really might happen. I'm not sure it will hit me till they wheel me in the OR. LOL I want to learn all that I can have as much support as I can. You can never have too many friends! 
I'm also welcome to an accountability partner... someone to check up on me to keep me on track.
