At my goal weight now and feeling great even after surgery less than a month ago for my bowel being twisted 4 times, internal hernia and a stricture. I am loving my life and myself sure I have some flaws but I feel beautiful for the first time in a long long time!

I went shopping yesterday at my apparent favorite store "Old Navy" lol! I was able to shop the clearance racks and buy some really nice things. I bought a sweater dress a size LARGE :O for $6;99 and a sweater in a size large for $3.99! I was feeling pretty awesome when I left the store yesterday. I also got a pair of size 12 jeans but they don't quite fit yet which is odd because my 14's are falling off, I guess I am stuck in between again it happens to me every few months but I am not complaining!

Well I met with my specialist last week about the cyst on my ovary and he says that it is the size of a golfball and he cannot believe that I have been living with the pain of this thing since August because it is pressing on my organs. So I have been put on a hormone treatment to try to shrink it for 2 weeks and if that doesn't work then other action will have to be taken. So I am being hopeful that this treatment will be successful.


For some good news I got a new hair cut that I am really liking alot its kinda retro :)

Well first for the good news I am down 86 pounds from 282 to 195 I am so happy that I am under 200 pounds!

Now for the bad news, all of the pain that I have been having in the abdominal area is due to a large ovarian cyst and an enlarged utereus. Every woman in my family has had a hysterctomy before the age of 35 due to problems like this and it looks like I won't be any different. I just never thought that it would happen to me at the age of 26. I am so blessed to have been given my wonderful daughter Mila because more than likely she will be the only one that we get. I see a specialist on October 16th and he will determine what action needs to be taken so all hope isn't lost yet it just doesn't look good right now.


So anyway I take the good with the bad and I'll keep on going!

Anyway I went with my SIL to Old Navy yesterday because they had jeans on sale. Well I figured I would just go and probably help her find some that looked great on her. Well she convinced me to just try on the size 20. I used to work at Old Navy way back in the day so I remember how their jeans fit. But to get her off my back I tried on the twenties and they were too BIG!!! It has been almost three years since I have been able to buy a pair of pants from old Navy. I walked out of there with a pair of size 18's that IMO I looked pretty great in lol!!! I just can't wait to get below a size 16, that is the size that I was in High School and as an adult I have never worn smaller than a size 16.

I am actually starting to see that I am getting smaller.

I had my 3 month appointment today and everything went great the doc said that I had tripled my weightloss since my 1 month check up which is awesome! So I am having a great day. I feel great and I think that I look better maybe not great yet but I am getting there. he gave me my goal weight today which would be 140 pounds I wanted it to be 130 but 140 is cool with me too. I am expected to lose about 2 pounds per week for the next 3 months to stay on track so I think that I can do that and hopefully I will lose more than that. I really want to meet my goal in less than one year. Some days I still struggle with protein and I can tell because my hair is falling out but overall I think that all things considered I am doing pretty well and I actually feel proud of myself today. I have lost almost 70 pounds now!!!

I thought this was pretty cool lol :P

As of yesterday it was 2 months since my surgery and I have lost 53 pounds!!!! I need to add some pics :)
