100 gone!!!!

It's been about 8.5 months now and 100lbs are gone!!!! I feel wonderful. I have ABSOLUTELY no regrets!!! Granted, I still have good days and bad days... however, the good days out-weigh the bad days by a long shot. One of the NSV or blessing is my 8 year old son sees the change in me. I am now the Mom who takes the kiddies for bike rides, skateboard runs, plays hide-n-seek, gets on all the "big rides" at amusements parks. This has truly changed my life for the better. I no longer have the "fear" that I embarrass my son by my weight. Everyday life is easier not carrying that extra weight. I feel years younger and actually have energy again!!!!

Today is October 10th, 2008
Well I had my surgery on Monday September 22nd. My surgery took 1.5 hours. It went without a hitch. When I woke up in the recovery room I just remember being in a whole lot of pain with my back. It felt like the surgery was actually done on my back!! The nurses acted quick and got my pain under control and off to my room I went. Once there I was okay. I was in the hosptial for 2 nights.
You know, I have been learning and thinking a whole lot about "things". I am at peace with myself right now. I am in no hurry to see numbers plummet, I just want to learn how to operate this new thing(stomach). I want to do it right. I want to be sure that I shall never have to go through something like this again. I want to get and stay healthy and stop wasting time always worried about my health and weight. I want to enjoy my life and my family. I want to be free!!!!
