how long??

just wondering how long it should take to get down a protein shake? Im a newbie I just got sleeved 05/16/17 and I feel like it takes for ever to get down a protein shake at least an hour. Also any ideas for a new shake? I used the  premier ones pre surgery and had no problem... Now? they are so sweet they make me sick. I am using a powder Quest one now but its so thick I'm starting to hate it. Any ideas and comments would be awesome!
