Brad A. Case

"Dr. Case is a very good doctor, very well spoken. He takes time to explain the procedure, its benefits, its complications. He is very strict about meeting requirements for his program, wants you to go to all doctor appts so he has a complete picture of your over all health before making a decision if you are a good surgical candidate or not. He also has a dietician that he referrs people to, so you're not trying to make food and supplement choices alone. The dietician, Sheila Dean RD, works very closely with Dr. Case to insure that his patients are getting the most up to date information about food choices and supplements. Aftercare is very important to him. He insists all patients prior to surgery, agree to a signed contract regarding aftercare. You must keep a daily journal of your fluid intake, protein intake, supplements, and workouts. He will not see you for appts if you forget to bring your journal, as it is very important for him to see how you are doing a daily basis, to see the pattern of your days post op. He has a monthly support group that he or his staff attends. He does his best to answer all questions. He arranges for guest speakers, such as dieticians and psychiatrists to talk with the group. He throughly explains the procedure and all its risks, you feel very informed after talking with him. His office staff is great, very effecient and very nice. I felt lucky that Dr. Case has both a great bed side manner and surgical competence. I would give him a very high overall rating. He doesn't just run a WLS surgery mill, he really cares and wants his patients to be as prepared as possible."

Countryside Hospital

"I thought the pre op area, surgical area, recovery area and ICU were fabulous. The medical floor had good nursing but was very loud at night so it made sleeping a bit difficult."

Sheila Dean

"Sheila is just lovely. Very informed, has lots of information to give you. Gives you printed instructions which makes it easier to remember. Also gives guidance on products to buy and for me since I had no idea what to get, that was the most helpful thing."

Mary Ellen Sullivan

"From the moment Mary Ellen walked into the room, she was so positive. She congraulated me on my decision to have gastric bypass. She explained everything she did and why she was doing it. She went thru all the excerises that were designed for my program. She showed me, then made me show her that I could do them. She sent me home with picture diagrams so I could remember what to do. Very progressional, I would recommend her highly."
