Hi folks... I've been around here since 2002. I had an old profile but couldn't pull it up easily. Therefore, I will re do this.. I am going to copy and past my old info. so here goes:

I am a 41 year old special education teacher. I have been overweight since I started grade school. I have tried every diet known to man. I have lost so much weight only to gain it all back and more. I am familiar with gastric bypass, my mother had it in 1980. They didn't have rny then and forget about lap surgery. I am soooo ready to get my life back. I have the past few years gotten to where the weight affected my life. I have a very good support group with this surgery. My parents and my church family are behind me. My biggest support is from my assistant in my class. Her name is Debby Dula and she and I are going thru this proceedure together. Her profile is also listed on this site. We hope to have surgery on the same day.
