I guess that I should start this by saying that
this is the beginning of a long journey for
me.. I have been trying since 2002 to get
the gastric bypass surgery okay'd thru my
insurance co. I am 45 years old and I have
diabetes, I am on an insulin pump, not a
bad thing but it is a hassle sometimes.
But I have just had the surgery in
September of 2006 and I cannot believe
the difference. I feel better and I can do
things now, I couldn't do before. I am
down 30 pounds so far, and getting
better and better everyday. I am married
and have 2 grown children, and girl 25
and a boy 20.I have been married for
18 years now, to my soulmate. But now
I am on the loosing bench with a great day
ahead of me.
