Well let's see,my name is Joyce,I'm 36 years old.I live in Syracuse,NY,but I'm originally from a very small town named Clarksdale,MS.I have 3 kids,2 boys and a girl.Both of my sons have been diagnosed as autistic,but thier coming along fine.My weight......as of now I weigh 408 lbs at 5'4" tall.that puts my bmi at 70.Gastric bypass has been something I've considered since 1997.In 2003 I visited a clinic in scranton,pa ,they specialize in bariatric surgery. after starting the process ,I had a obgyn appointment that revealed to me that I was pregnant with twins.LOL ,what a pleasant surprise,needless to say ,surgery was out of the question.I was only praying that I didn't gain 83 lbs like I did with my first pregnancy,Now that my twins are starting headstart next year,I feel it's time to show Joyce a little well needed attention.This journey started a little over a year ago,at community general hospital in syracuse.And I now have a surgery date of April 6,2009.I can't wait to start our new life(me and my kids) together.Losing this weight will change my life and theirs.
