Greetings to All! Megan's Mom is sending this update in Megan's name as I haven't been able to post under my own ...hopefully I won't confuse too many people! Megan had her surgery on Tuesday the 4th and everything went exceedingly well. She was originally scheduled for a late afternoon slot, however, the hospital called at 9:30 am to inform of a cancellation and wanted her to come in RIGHT AWAY! No waiting. She zipped right in and out. The good Doctor reported a completely uneventful procedure. She is in the hospital until Friday the 7th. I spoke with her the morning after and she sounded terrific! Needs her rest, though, so visits are short and sweet. She wanted all of you who sent prayers and words of encouragement to know how extremely grateful she is for your kindness. It meant a lot to her and helped keep her calm and free of anxiety just knowing so many were holding her close in their hearts! Blessings to you All! Her family thanks you as well. The compassion of so many 'strangers' renews faith in a world sometimes seemingly cold. May the love and kindness you sow, return to you ten times over! Peace and Love, Robin MCDonald (Megan's Mom)
