Well Yesterday 1 week pass the day,I went to Dr.office,seen the nurse only, weighed in ,my lose was 4 lbs in the 1 week ,thought it would be higher not being able to eat,but I will gladley take the 4,or should I say get rid of the 4 lbs ..lol.

Feeling a lot better than last week this time,getting in more water ,and had my first normal BM, The nurse said I can go to the  pureeded foods now and able to remove my tape strips,So the liquid diet really dont last as long as they say.

 I am Feeling much better today,Last night was not a good night,My stomach hurt,as feeling like I needed to pass gas but could not,.Rubbing my tummy around hoping it would make a feel of a bubble bust in my stomach,I walked the floor till 4:00 am,and thinking of all kinds of reasons I may feel so bad.While thinking ,I recall I am not going to the bath room but maybe a few times to pee,I looked at the color and it is just as orange as my Certrim vitiam ( orange flavor ) So I think ya & when should I have a Bw,No one told me all this other stuff to expect.So I decided to take in even more water no matter what it took .took some pain med & went to sleep.

When I got up this morn pain was gone I  called my neice that had this surgery about 5 months ago,she asured me all I was feeling is normal..I am not eating like I use to & surgery was only really a few days ago ,she told me this will take time for my body to adjust to the Band, She advised me to drink more water and not to be afraid to eat that we will all learn our body by trail & error,what our new stomachs will allow & not allow,This is the way we will know our own limits,and all of us are different, So I guess she relaxed me a lot as to how my body was feeling and me wanting to do as the chart tells us,I already knew I was having trouble getting in enought water ,so now I will push this a bit more.

Feeling better and a bit more relaxed about things has taked a lot of worry from me ,am I doing this right ?? So Tonight I go back to work,just a bit sore,but will be fine,

I think the post op part of just after surgey is over now and looking forward to getting back to normal things.It has not been a pleasent or easy thing but now i feel the worse is behine me.

Come on tell me your stories cant wait to hear from some people who had their cross over close to my same time,and hope we are all doing well

Well I have so much to say.Their was a cancle so when I got to the hosiptal,they hurried to get me in & ready,All people in my room poking me, nurses,dr,Ect...Long story try to make it short ,I felt like a cow in the meat block...You know on the line going down ,dump,dump and the belt keeps going.
I was slapped on the table, the mask put over my face ,I was gone,No one said ok how you feel we are about to start,I will place this mask on your face sweet dreams,,NOPE NOT AT ALL...Just slapped the mask I was gone.
My night at the hosiptal was a night from hell.The next morning we were all lined up for the upper GI TEST, What I have to drink that chauck again?? How will I do that ,My mouth is so cotton I cant even swallow, The most worst drink you can ever have if you can hold that down your all good.Well I did .
At  home it  is on day 2 still cotton mounth very bad...My bed & the bathroom only places to go,lets see I had surgery Wens, by Fri evening my mount started to feel saliva again.
Taking small sips I can feel it move about in my stomach,sometime hurting,
This is not a easy way to go,I want to eat something ,something not liquid,Looking forward to creamy soup,& trying to get enough protine in & water as possible,

Last Night I woke feeling all hot ,sweat all over me...

A friend just told me about this site.I have been finished with all my tests ect so cant talk about that,but I will say I went to see Dr.Rantis for the 1st time on Oct.25,07,finished all testing on Nov.9th. PRE ADDMITTING TESTS DONE ON THE 21OF NOV.Had one more appt with Dr Rantis on Nov 27th,07

I am 2 days from my date right now getting a bit nervous,I will have the Lap Band done on the 5th of Dec.So all has gone pretty fast for me.

I am a bit up in age 52,but think now is my time to get healthy, been yo yoing all my life and want it to just STOP !!!
