I am 31yrs old, a mother of one and a single parent.. I have been struggling with my weight my entire life. There have been so many diets its hard to remember all of them. I've gone up and down and then back up bigger than i was before, now I'm at the heaviest i have ever been and I'm not happy. I made the decision to have surgery a few years ago then two days before surgery I got a call from the doctors office saying the Doctor can no longer preform my surgery and will no longer be practicing! I didn't know what to do i had went though so much to get there and nothing. Now i have decided to try again and I'm determined for my daughter and my self to get this done. I cant wait to see the look on her face when i can actually play with her at the park and not just sit on the sidelines because it takes to much energy.
I have decided I'm going to get RNY surgery and I'm Lucky i have my aunt to support me in my decision. My PCP didn't even have faith in me he was rude and pissed me off but in the end he gave me what i needed, my referral. I go my consultation for Doctor Juarez on Tuesday October 13, I already have an appointment with a psychologist and will find out when i see the nutritionists. I think everyone of us is beautiful and by getting surgery we are just letting everyone else see the flower in full bloom!!!!!
