"All I can say is WOW!! I had my Gastric Bypass Surgery (RNY) and Cholecystectomy done on 15 April 2015 by Dr. Fetter and his team. I must commend the entire team at CEMMSA for the professional and caring way they guided me through this whole process up to now. From my first appointment with Dr. Fetter I knew I was in very, very capable hands and he kept re-assuring me that all will be well. What impressed me the most was that he and the endocrinologist, Prof. Tess van der Merwe, visited me around midnight (+- 6 hours after surgery) to check in on me and find out if all was well. They also visited me every evening whilst I was in hospital. That meant so much to me. I wasn't just another a patient.
I have very little pain and/or discomfort and have no problems swallowing or eating and keeping down foods (soups and high protein shakes for now), and I can attribute it to the professional and experts hands of Dr. Fetter and his team. I also have had very little need for pain killers, and only used some on Saturday.
I can highly recommend Dr. Fetter and the entire team of CEMMSA. If I was asked to go through this again, I will not even research or look for another surgeon. This one is a no-brainer!
