Hi...well where do I begin on this journey. 10 years ago I underwent a gastric band surgery - unfortunately after 10 years and several high risk pregnancies, and more importantly no support or follow up after surgery, I find myself back at 210 lbs with minor complications. I am scheduled for revision surgery at the end of October 2007. I excited about the prospect of having the surgery corrected and lose this unwanted weight. I never thought I would have to undergo a second weightloss surgery BUT it proves that weightloss surgery is a tool - fortunately, I have a second chance to recapture the opportunity to lose the weight and gain the knowledge that I missed the first go-around. I'm excited, nervous and anxious to start this new journey and be Fit & Fabulous Mom at 40 rather than the Fat & Frumpy Mom at 40!
