I hate AETNA

I just found out that my plan excludes weight loss surgery! I feel crushed. This was the end of the line for me! Aetna is the absolute worst insurance company on the planet! I asked them to provide me with documentation from my benefits plan showing where it says that WLS is excluded because what I read of my plan online didn't say anything about WLS in the exclusions section. I am so irritated! I don't know what I am going to do. This is seriously my last option. I have been living my entire life overweight and I cannot stand it anymore. I would pay for it out of pocket but I don't have money to afford it. I know it is my life we are talking about but I seriously cannot pay 30k out of pocket. I just don't know what to do. I am waiting to hear if the other plan my job offers will cover it or not and then to see if I will be able to switch to that plan. GOSH....It is only the beginning of this journey and I already feel like I am failing miserably!
