My Journey begins....

Hi! My name is Corrine, 46 yrs of age, and I'm from Ottawa, Ontario. I am very new at WLS and have yet to be referred to Dr. J.D Yelle, by my Family Doctor. (I have an appt. next week to see family dr). I'm diabetic (Type 1), had a liver transplant in 1995 (all is going very well with that), sleep apnea 2 years now, hypertension, gastroesophageal reflux, painful joints and yes, depression! I'm just very worried about the fact I've had a liver transplant that I won't be a candidate for WLS. I've tried to google WLS after a transplant and not many statistics...anyone know about this???? Anyways just wanted to say hi and I'm on a journey, hopefully a successful one!!
