Well it has been a year and a half since my surgery and as of today I have loss a total of 100 pounds. I have 70 more pounds to go till I reach my goal weight and I am struggling. I am not giving up but it is rough. I am thinking of going back and have the second half of the surgery but I am hesitant. It is a lot to think about. I always say if it is less than a hundred pounds to lose then we should be able to do it on our own. I am at 230 pounds.

Well I am going to update. Last week I had a lil worry but come to find out Friday it was just a pulled muscle in my belly. The doctor said I WAS OVERDOING AND THAT I NEEDED TO SLOW BACK DOWN TO RECOUP THE RIGHT WAY. So I AM GONNA SLOW DOWN. I KNEW I WAS FEELING WAY TO GOOD TO BE TRUE. lol  But okay here is the best I am down to 255 woohoo. Today I am feeling good again so I guess they are right. LOL.

TODAY IS MAY 4TH, 2009. 4 DAYS POST OP AND NOT TO MUCH TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.  I AM STILL ON MY CLEAR LIQUID DIET. I WILL SEE MY DOCTOR TODAY AND SEE WHAT HE HAS TO TELL ME. I KNOW I WEIGHED MYSELF YESTERDAY AND I GAINED LIKE 20 POUNDS SINCE MY SURGERY DATE. I HOPE IT STARTS COMING OFF SOON. I HAD THE GASTRIC SLEEVE. i AM A NERVOUS WRECK.

Hi, my name is Liz and I am a 52 year old lady and looking to lose 107 lbs. forever!! Luckily, I have a husband that loves me the way I am, but won't complain if I lost some weight, lol. This is something that I have to do for myself!!  Before my surgery I weighed 303 lbs. in the process of waiting for my surgery I lost 15 lbs. 282 then I had the 2 weeks of full liquid and got down to 271 lbs. Had my gastric sleeve on April 30th, 2009. Everything seems to have gone very well. I see my doctor this afternoon to remove the central line and my drain (I HOPE). I pray that this is gonna work how I need it to. Oh and by the way I am looking for friends on here that have gone through the same surgery. Thanks, Liz
