Protein water, for clear liquid days?

I have been clinging to this site like is is my lifeline thes last few days before surgery (btw), and I found something called "protein water" mentioned....I thought that it would be a great thing to drink in the clear liquids time after surgery.   I went out at lunch (yes I am at work on Sunday!) and found Isopure 40g protein and Cytomax, also 40g, (FYI the Isopure, according to the sales person at the VitaminShoppe, said the protein is super refined whey protein, which is why it is more expensive than the Cytomax).  It tastes a little like "no sugar added jello" to me.  I think I could sip on it for a couple of days....haven't tried the other one yet.  Any one tried these immediately after surgery?
