Hi Everybody, I'm Back, 6 DAYS OUT!!! Feeling good and recovering at my mom's house. My lap RNY went fine, in and out in 1 hr and 45 min. Lenox Hill Nurses were great. I've tolerated everything so far. No vomiting, YEAH!!! Will update again soon. Thank you to everyone for all of your support.

Janice, best wishes for an uneventful journey to the "losing" side. It's the greatest gift that you can give yourself. My sis had her lap RNY down here in Alabama with the surgeon I used, but she lives up in NY and goes to the Lenox Hill support group meetings. You'll have to look for her next month! Her name is Dawn!

God Bless you on your surgery today. You will be on the losing side shortly. I hope everything goes smooth for you. Remember to walk as soon as you can. This helps with gas and keeps blood clots from forming. Congratulations from the losing side.
