I can't believe it, i have had a couple of bad days right in a row and today I got called to schedule surgery!!  I have been approved and lap-band surgery is scheduled for September 14th.  AMEN!!!!

For any of you who are trying to decide to go GBMC for your surgery I want you to know how crazy the office is.  I'm not saying that the people are not nice but 3 employees have left in 5 months and they are key people I see at every visit.  I have not made an appt where it was not rescheduled or tried to be rescheduled.  I have had 2 visits to see the Dr and still have not met with him over my decision to do the Lap-band.  So I had my 5th visit last week and still gained 2 pounds and the nutrionalist is saying that the dr might want me to lose 15 pounds before he'll do the lap-band surgery but isn't that WHY I'm having the surgery????  Yet again, I have not been able to talk to Dr. Moein about it.  I've had my Upper GI, my ultrasound of the abdomen, bloodwork, vascular consult, and pulmonary fuction test.  So the only thing left is the EKG right before surgery.  I'm getting really excited!!

I just had my 4 month visit with Sloane for my medical supervised dieting.  My next appt is on June 18th and I'm supposed to see Sloane and Dr. Moein.  Dr. Moein wants me to have gastric-bypass but have decided to go with banding.  Yesterday I had my Upper GI and my Ultrasound of the Abdomen done so now all I have to do is bloodwork and the EKG prior to surgery.  I'm getting so excited about having the surgery now.  I'm not doing so well on the diet though, been in a really stressful environment and it's just not helping the diet any.
