Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! RNY 10/31/03 – down 93 pounds!!! Good luck!

Hello Judity, I have some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. --- May God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will have ups and downs. You can always turn to us, your AMOS family, we will give support, comfort and encouragement. You will find this will be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that was true for me. I was on holiday when you had your surgery and didn't get the opportunity to wish you well prior to your surgery. However, I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Good luck and God Bless!!! RNY 10/31/03 down 78 pounds!!! Deneise Stigen

Hello everyone; I just thought I would check in and give an update. I am still a little sore, and I have been having quite a bit of nausea but what a difference a couple of days have made. I am walking and trying to be active and feel so much better already. Right after the surgery I thought "I cant believe I did this" but I am SO happy that I had the courage and strength to make this decision for myself! Stay strong and keep fighting, I already know this will be such a positive thing for me! :)
