My story is like many others. I've had many years of struggling with my weight. Then one day, a co-worker showed me a flyer on the lap band and I was so excited. We called our insurance company to be told that if you meet the guidelines for WLS, then they would cover it. The list was long, but we both were approved on the 1st appeal.
