Update.....

well I got down to 229 and started gaining weight at a rapid pace.10 months out I wasn't just gaining weight but I had severe pain in my stomach and still dumping every time I ate! Went to see my original doc. After calling me a liar he had me have a few test ran an told me I was fine but needed to stop  eating or drinking things I shouldn't. He wrote me a prescription for Prevacid for my ulcer that was causing the pain. I got very depressed and continued to gain weight.

2012

looked into getting a revision however it's excluded from my insurance.

 

Nov. 2014

went with my oldest daughter for her first appointment for the gastric sleeve. I spoke with her Dr. About my issues he was so nice, he ordered an upper GI and they ran my insurance just to see if it had changed.....it had, but her doc seemed to think I had a fistula.... After the results came back from upper GI he suggested that I go see Dr. Erik Wilson. 

I went to see him in Dec. 2014. He seemed to think I had complications with my original surgery and order two more test. 

 

April 3, 2015  9 years since RNY

just heard from doctors office. I've had a fistula this whole time. I now weigh what I did nine years ago and still get sick every time I eat. I have to admit it was so good hearing that something did go wrong. I am still mad that I pleaded with my original doc 8 years and 3 months ago that something was wrong. After looking at my records I had a leak during surgery and the stapler malfunctioned and they had to get another one. I was in the hospital for a week and went home with drains. He never told me any of that! He knew damn well something wasn't right but still wanted to blame me and call me a liar!

I am now going to have to move passed that and look to the future! I have a physc visit next week and 3 nutrition visits and then on my way to revision!
