Well sorry it has been so long since I have gotten back to you. Went into surgery on Aug 9th. All went great. But I was bleeding out of my drain spot. Not the drain, itself. I was nauseated very badly and vomiting blood. I went down for my die test and threw that up too. I went back to my hospital room. They finally discovered I needed to be watched more closely and was down in ICU by Friday morning. By Sat morning, they realized after a blood infusion (7 units of blood) I still only had 6 units in my body!! Ok, DYING!! So they rushed me back into surgery to repair two spots that had continued to bleed. One was where they incision was (esophogas to small intestine) and the other spot was a main vein inside that had been damaged. WOW!! Got released yesterday and starting to feel human again. I never want to see a bed pan again!! I was dying without water the whole time. What little things in life we miss when we can't have them. I am doing great now. Lost 7 lbs in hospital. I am on cream soups, popsicles, water, stuff like that.

Julie: I want to say, May God Bless you and keep you safe. All surgeries are risky but I think you will be fine. If you need anything I am here. Let me know when you have made it to the loosing side. Remember, kickboxing is out for several weeks after surgery. But, you can walk, walk and walk. This is an amazing journey for me also so far. I hope that you enjoy seeing the transformation as I do.
