Thigh Lift Was a success!

Hello, well had my thigh lift done on April 30th, on both legs...all went well. I only needed 11 units of blood this time. My dr. is really perplexed as to what my body is doing with the blood. All is well now. I went home 4 days after surgery. Really sore!!!
I think this surgery is gonna keep me down alittle longer than my body lift. The incision starts about an inch below my knee goes around the inside of my legs and then up the back of my legs, they also made some incisions around my groin area... like where your elastic goes on your underwear! Ouch...this area actually healed the quickest!! Go Figure?? Anyway, took all the drains out before I came home so I was pleased to not have to bother with those things....even though there was only two this time.. compared to the six I had on the body lift.
I am very happy with the results and now I am looking forward to getting my right hip and both knees replaced. However, I think I will wait a few months and get myself back into
shape...so to speak....ya know build my strength up again.

Well, my LBL is healing and now I am going in on April 30th for a inner thigh lift!
I am sooo excited!!!! I will let you all know how things go.

Hello,
I had my surgery LBL on Feb 5th
It was a 10 hour surgery! and I needed 17 units of blood.
I am doing great and feeling better everyday! I will try to get some pics posted.

I am so excited!!!! I went to the plastic surgeon and we have set a surgery date of Feb. 5th 2007!!!!
My surgery will be done at KU...I will be having a tummy tuck, hip and thigh lift and a butt lift!
WOW...never thought I would make it this far.
I am now down to 230lbs. thats a loss of 320lbs.
Doesn't seem real. When all my plastic surgery is healed, I can then move on to having my knees and right hip replaced.
I am still pretty much confined to a wheel chair...I have a power one at home but use a manual when I go out. I am so looking forward to kicking them to the curb!

Good News Everyone!
My insurance company Blue Cross Blue Shield has approved the plastic surgery to remove excess skin. I will have a thigh lift, Hip& butt lift and tummy tuck!!!
I will have to appeal the arm lift and breast lift procedures but thats okay...I can do that!
