I am beginning to see the changes of my (so far) 55 pound weight loss!  I am almost 8 weeks out, and feeling pretty good.  I did have a minor set back a couple weeks ago with getting sick and dehydrated, but 3 liters of IV fluids later I'm doing well.

I tried on a pair of jeans I wore over 10 years ago, and they fit!!  I'm down to a 30 from a 38!!!  It's exciting!  I am seeing the fat melt away in the stranges places. . . my feet, and shins of all places!  Of course I can see it in my arms, my bust, my thighs, and neck. . .  Plus my family doctor has taken me off of my blood pressure meds, and my metformin for my PCOS.

So I'm a little less than a month out, my surgery is Monday, March 23.  I gotta be honest, I'm excited and scared to death all at the same time!!  I am so looking forward to doing things again. . . going to amusement parks, enjoying shopping, looking the most forward to a nice bubble bath again!  But I gotta say I'm not a big fan of pain, and I'm pretty terrified it's going to be more pain than I can handle.  Well right now, there's my feelings.
