The countdown begins...

I'm sitting in a local cafe reviewing the many handouts of information to better prepare me pre and post surgery and I decided to add my first blog. I must admit although I have some minor anxiety  over my upcoming surgery, mostly I'm excited with anticipation and ready to get this party started! My brother will be coming from MI to help during the first week after surgery and I'm just excited to see him in general, but to also have him here for moral support as well.  This has been a long time in the works and the date is fast approaching, I just pray my Lord help me to continue to make the necessary changes so I can have a long, healthy future not only for myself, but for my children and (hopefully oneday) grandchildren.
