Here it is April 20th (08) and I am sitting here looking through this web site thinking I hope I look that good after all of this.
I have fought my weight all of my life. I was diagnosed with Adult onset type II diabeties in January. I had considered the WLS before that but I think that was the final straw ( not to mention I am tired of having to hold my breath to tie my shoes) . I have a 10 year old son with whom I want to live life instead of sitting by the side and watching him live life without me ( not that he will always want me involved but while he does I want to be). Post op I am going to start taking Tea Kwon Do classes with him. He is an Orange belt now and testing for green in May ( which means in class I have to call him sir {He loves that idea lol })
I started working out and waling as much as I can I have fybromyalgia and neropathy so it is tough sometimes, but I want this so badly that I work through the pain as best I can!
I have the ball rolling with surgery, and should be scheduled for surgery in August!
Will date more here or in one of the other areas on the profile!
