Well, I made it! Surgery went well and I seem to be doing pretty good. I have terrible gas pressure. What I would give to fart!!! I am allergic to my pain meds so I am itching like crazy...Benedryl works wonders! Yesterday was my 1st day at home. My family was there and my 4 yo daughter Ava even fixed up her room for me to sleep in just incase I could not get it up our steep stairs to my room. But I made it up just fine. My family has been so sweet and helpful. I could not have asked for better support. I must say, when they pulled out that drain tube....I thouht I was going to come up out of that bed and strangle the nurse! I guess my tissue had grown around the tube so it was stuck! It litteraly felt like someone was pulling my guts out! I can't wait so see actual results!

I am so excited!!! I had to postpone my surgery twice now do to insurance. I have decided to take a week of and the go back part time the following week. I have a sit down job so it should be ok. My sister who has had it seems to think that there will be no way in hell that I will be able to go back so soon. I was the one driving 4 days after my c-section! She is also the one that will faint at the drop of a hat. Oh well, whatever.

        I contacted the insurance company myself and made them give me the Auth #. I called the nurse and she will be contacting them today to verify it. So now I have to find out how much $$ I will need to come up with and decide on either 12/17/09 or 12/31/09 for a surgery date. Let's see what we will find out!

 

So I have my consult this Wednesday. I am still waiting for some snafoo to happen with my insurance. I am one of those "If anything bad will happen, it will happen to her" kind of person. I am still trying to wrap my brain around the idea that I will be skinny one day! I though it was my fate the be "bubby" Thats what my family calls big girls. Well, we will see what happens on Wednesday!! Wish me luck!  Oh, and why the heck am I up so late??? I need to get ready for work in 3 hours!
