Karie, unfortunately, there are just some people that you have to deal with a grain of salt. My sisters were like this in the begining, only telling me negative things. All but one of my sisters have come around and that is okay with me. The sister that is still ugly about me having the surgery will no longer talk to me about it period and that is fine. I realized that some people just don't need to be told. I realize a lot of the negativity comes from fear of the unknown and fear of losing a loved one. Once my other sisters had the correct information they were on board with me and was glad of my choice. I started taking them to the support group meetings and the seminars and this is what changed their minds. Ignorance can cause people to say things that they shouldn't. Try the educated approach and see if that helps. Best wishes to you as you continue on your journey.

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.**Hugs**
