Hello all! My name is Kat, I am from Albany, NY.
I am 40 years old and Mom of 4.
I am interested in VSG...haven't been able to keep the weight off since the birth of my twins in 2004. I have always been
a little overweight, but nothing to consider WLS.
My recently my husband became ILL (April of 2010) with Brain Cancer.
His prognosis is good as the tumor is only a Grade II, however he still requires alot of medical care and attention.
I am tired at this weight and have tried WW's, Medifast, and countless other diets, only to put it back on times 2.
I am desperate for some change and want to be healthy.
I long for those skinny days and am still hanging onto size 8 and 10's.
I will be there again with this tool....it's just getting there!
I had my 1st appt with the surgeon on 8/29.
Psych appts are on 10/8 and 10/26.
I will see the nutritionist on 10/12. My surgeon says if all goes well I might be able
to have my surgery scheduled for Jan 2011....
