Hugh Houston

"I had RNY surgery in 2004 and lost about 50 pounds very quickly. I also regained it all and was about to give up when I heard about the revision alternatives that are available. I was very impressed with Dr Houston on my initial visit over the length of time he spent talking with me, answering all of my questions and making sure I understood the answers. Friendly and non-judgemental, very informative and he insisted that I do my own research on the procedure I wanted before he'd agree to do it. Two weeks later he recognized me while I was sitting in the waiting area at the hospital while she had a scope done by him. He knew who I was, what procedure I was having and also when. I just had my one week post-op visit (down 10 pounds!) where I told him I was looking forward to some tomato soup since I'm starting stage 2 today. He says, no no no! Protein shakes and water only for about a week and then on to stage 3. No more cream soups of any kind, not a good protein source and the sodium is too high. He gets a 10 rating from me, I'm happy with him."
