I am getting close to my goal. Very exciting.

I am so excited. I have lost 90lbs. Also fitting into a large or small xl in clothes. 20-30 more lbs to go and feeling great.

I met my first goal today - to be under 200 lbs. I am so excited!

I started soft foods on Saturday and some things work and some don't as I was told would happen. I am still very excited about the weight loss and going up and down the stairs and getting up and down off of the floor. Still having difficulty getting in the 64 oz of fluids including the 3rd protein drink. And my energy is still not what I want it to be, but I heard that can take months before it happens. I have to keep remembering that I had major surgery which I have never had before in my life and that I am eating very little.

I am basically doing really well except for the pain from the deep stitches. I still can't sleep on my side which is a drag. I just got a message from my friend saying it was 3 weeks before she felt better. That really helped me to know that.

Here I am 6 days post op, looking out my window at the sun coming up through the trees and feeling like a new beginning. All went very well. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the 12 lbs of fluids I retained, now down to about 7. Today I feel I turned a corner. Stitches don't hurt as much. I feel clearer and I have been able to sleep through the night. It's all good.

This is getting very exciting. Only 4 days to go until surgery. I realized the other day that this is only the second time in my life that I have been in the hospital. The other time I was 15 for my tonsils. Fortunately I have had laprascopic day surgery before so I know what to expect. I am feeling what a huge change this is for my life long-term and my daily life. I am ready for it.
