I am Katie, I have been over weight since i was a young child. I have always struggled with losing weight. I have been on almost every diet and no luck i lose weight then gain it back. I have taken weight loss pills and lost weight only to gain it back when i get off of them. I have looked into weight loss surgery for years but was never able to do it becasue of everything that was going on. I finally made up my mind in March that i was going to do this. Everything started to happen and i was finally able to get an appointment with the dr the insurance company approved me within a week of requesting the surgery. I was at first hoping to get the lap ban but after seeing the Dr he said i needed the DS. So i took his advise and i am getting the DS. My surgery date is July 29th 2010. My goal is to be able to run and play with my godchildren who i adore and love. I want to be able to run and not feel like im going to keel over. I want overall health and i hope that i will succeed in gaining that.
