Got rid of it!

Well, I did it.
I got rid of clothes that I've had forever! 8-9 bags of it. I'm talking big black garbage bags. Even clothes I've had since before I was married! I give away a suit my Husband bought me right before he asked me to marry him, 15 yrs ago. If it was too big it left my house, period, and taken to support group clothing sale.
It was very strange to leave the clothing sale and see all of my clothes in every area. Dresses , pants, tops, nighties, everything. They were people helping me empty my bags just so that could buy it. Now that I wear an XL/14-16 top and 18 pants, don't need those 24-16 things. Lots of 22 and 20. and a few 18-20. Even found some jeans for me there (thanks Jen).
I have a bag for my mom( surgery 12/15) and one for a friend. then it will all be gone.
Now have the opposite problem. Only have 4 pairs of pants and a few blouses for work, and need some dresses too. But at least I can shop now!

OK got home yesterday, and man, the pain. Thought about this all night. Just can't stop now , I have permently altered my body!
I'm sipping and taking jello and broth, farting and burbing. Even took a quick trip outside today. I know it will get better but still, man , this sucks! I can have my next dose of pain med then a nap. Hopefully I can sleep through the night soon. There is no way in hell I'm getting plastics!

Hurting

Well, Started having stomach cramps yesterday morning at work. Called Doctor and he said to rest and go to cl liquids only for a couple days. Feel like a got ran over by a truck and nauseous today. Well, I guess if it is the gallbladder then he will just take it too on Tues. He said he wanted it to clam down by then. so hopefully this will pass soon.

I just found out from Rose , I'm approved . Good ol'BCBIL. I told my friends and family. Now I will get a call from Dr. Heydari's office with a date.

Well,
I have completed 6 months of medically supervised program, (after 4months with another program) and taken my 2 pre op classes, now just waiting to find out if I'm approved for the bypass.
I have been reading the posts and trying to learn as much as I can before going in. I truly think the 6 months is helpful , if you use that time to learn and get ready for the changes that are going to take place. I eat less, move more and have had time to work on my head! As someone said this week in Support Group: "It's stomach surgery, not brain surgery! " I have read some good books to get ready and been on a diet using the medical shakes, so geeting use to it.
So , just waiting......
