My story is the same as most stories I have read on this website. I came into this world "bigger than average" and well....I still am.
All of my life I have been told "oh, you're not fay ou are just big boned". I beg to differ. I stand a whopping 5'10" tall and weigh 268 lbs. I look more like a line backer for the Razorbacks (go hogs!!). While it may appear so, I am not bitter. I have decided to take my destiny into my own hands and to make a life long change to a healthier me!
This journey began about 2 years ago when I started researching this website and WLS. I talked to my best bud a great deal about having the surgery. I just could not muster the courage to do it, but my best friend did and she looks great! She begged me to go through the procedure with her, but I was just not emotionally ready to make that committment. I AM NOW READY!
