I am a 29 year old married mother of 2. I met my husband 12 years ago at my senior prom and we married a year later. I have an 8 year old little girl and a 2 year old little girl. My days are spent working as a Manager in a customer service environment and my nights are spent spending time with my family. My sister (chellemomof3) had gastric bypass in January until then I was too scared to do it. After speaking with her doctor and seeing how well she did I made the decision to go for it. I have several comobiditys which include hypertension, sleep abnea and acid reflux. I also have suffered from miagrains since I was 11 and have been diagnosed with Fibromygia which I understand will not be fixed with loosing weight but my feeling are if I could just reduce some on the issues!!!!!! I first went to the seminar at the end of Febuary. In March of 07 I started the process with United Health Care as my Insurance. I did everything required with them but guess what my Company decided to change insurance companies and it was effective April 01, 2007. We tried to get everthing pushed thru in March but was unsucessful. So yet again I gave up and said I will just try and loose it on my own because Blue Cross requires a 6 mth diet and I couldn't wait 6 mths to loose weight. However in May reality set back in and I realized I have been trying VERY HARD for 8 yrs to loose weight and have been unsussceful so why do I think I can do it by myself now. So at that point I began the 6mth diet that is where I am at now. My 6mths ends mid-October and I am counting the days!!!!!
