I am 62 years old and happily married. My gastric bypass is scheduled and I am excited and scared for it to get done. I am wanting to get healthy for myself, my husband, and my children/grandchildren. I have a good life and I am not ready to give it up, so this surgery is the answer. I know it is still going to take work and commitment on my part, but I am ready for that. I am so happy I found this site to talk to people who have surgery already and can help me understand the things I need to do. I have already learned a lot.
