I know, it's the day after Thanksgiving....BUT... I bought some size 12 clothes a while back on clerance a while back and thought i would try them on today for some reason....AND... they FIT!!! Not even tight!!!! I feel on top of the world. And it's not even straining with me up there!!!!!!!

Well, I'm down to 189 today. What an awesome feeling! I feel great! No problems, though my joint pain seems to be getting worse instead of better. I guess they're not used to being able to move this much? No complaints from me tho. SO worth it. I borrowed a pair of size 14 American Eagle jeans from a friend, and I must say they looked pretty dang good on me. I also bought a pair of Aeropostale capris at a garage sale, size 13-14 and they fit!!! A tat bit snug, but not uncomfortable. I can't wait to put on a pair of size 12s. I don't think I've EVER worn that size.

Well, I made it to Onederland!!! I'm down to 198 today. That's a total of 43 lbs including the liquid diet before the surgery. I'm SO excited!!! Only 48 lbs to get to my goal, and who knows, maybe even below that!!!

So I weighed this moring and was at 219.6. Under 200! It's only a little but it feels so good to see the numbers go down. I have not had to take my Metformin, and my blood pressure has actually been running a little low, just keeping an eye on my heart rate. I'm a little tachycardic at times, but it's less and less every day. One thing I'm regretting is my actions before my surgery. I had to wait a little over a month to have my surgery after my insurance wsa approved, and once I had a date I ate everything I could get my hands on before my liquid diet. So needless to say, I have been losing the weight I gained just before my surgery. But no looking back. It's all down hill from here!

So Dr. Chung said the infection was not uncommon because there is little blood flow in fat, and that the infection is pretty shallow and should heal soon. Didn't even require antibiotics. I've also lost another 7lbs. That makes 15 in 19 days. The nurse said that was pretty average and I'm right on track. I'm SO impatient. I want the weight to be gone NOW. But I'm not going to complain. Other than the lil infection, I've had no problems and feel great. My clothes are starting to fit looser, thats AWAYS a good thing. One step at a time, one day at a time, one pound at a time...

So I have a Dr's appointment on Wed, but I think I'm going to call in the morning because i'm pretty sure that one of my incisions is infected. That stinks. That's the only problem that I've had so far. I'm hoping it's not going to be very bad. We shall see.

Ok, So I'm 8 days out today. I went to the Dr on Wed & had lost 8 lbs in 6 days! Kinda cool! I have not feel the greatest this past week, but I think I was doing too much too soon. But today I feel almost normal again! Whatever "normal" is anyhow. LOL Just wondering how long I have to wait to try coffee!!!

Well, it's done. I had my surgery Thursday morning, and today is Saturday and I'm home. I think I'm doing pretty well. Though I'm not going to lie, it hurts like HELL!!! But I'll make it. I'm tough. I'll go back Wed to get my drain tube taken off. I still can't believe I actually did it! I'm ready to start seeing some difference...

Day 1 of the liquid diet. So the NSA CIB ready made shakes are really not that bad. My brother said he hated them, but that was after his surgery. I may hate them after mine. lol So far I'm not "starving" yet, but I did sleep late this morning. I figured the less time I'm awake the less time to be hungry. Anyhow, about to go see if I can make some soup that's acceptable on my diet and put it up for Monday and Tuesday. My BIG day is getting closer and I can hardly wait!

So I went to Dr. Chungs office today, well I actually saw his nurse, but she was great. I really like her. She just went over what to expect, gave me a booklet with some info to read, told me when to start my liquid diet, blah blah blah... But that just makes it more real for me. I still can not believe I'm actually getting to have this done. In 10 days I'll start my liquid diet. Someone said "Yuk! You have to be on a liquid diet that long!" but I'm not dreading it at all. I'm looking at it as a step closer to my big day. I'm keeping a good attitude about this, and I'm going to do great. I know I'll have some ups and downs, but we all have those and I'll deal with them as they come. Just 16 more days....
