"My first impression of Dr. Shin was that he seemed kind and very concerned about me as a patient. He was informative, answered all my questions and was never annoyed with any of them. :o)
My impression hasn't changed. I feel that he is very experienced and I have no concern that he will take care of me.
His office staff is incredible. They have to be the nicest group of people that I have ever met. They all act like family and include the patient in that family. They are all knowledgable and informative.
Future patients should know that he is exceptional at what he does!
His emphasis on aftercare is stressed at least a million times. It is extremely important to him that you follow-up in the future. He makes it perfectly clear that this is a "Tool" and you are ultimitely the one that will make it happen and keep the weight off. He insists that you continue to follow with him to make certain that you maintain the weight loss. He has a very structured aftercare program that if used correctly will achieve and maintain weightloss.
Dr. Shin was upfront and honest about the risk of surgery. He offered national statistics as well as his personal ones.
Overall....he gets an A+ :o)
Surgical competence and bedside manner in my opinion are equally important...he has both!"
