Missie, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. Hi Missie, Ready with the jokes to play on the nurses during our joint stay? I called Ann this week to ask about the skim milk diet (like do I have to do it) and she said yes and probably for a month (groan...). My pre-op appointment is 8/12 so I'll let you know the news. Good idea of yours about milk & bars--let me know how it goes. We can start a skim milk cook book...I've already thought of mixing skim milk with splenda & pepermint extract and freezing it to have in place of peppermint ice cream. I've also thought that we could have skim milk yougurt flavored with chili pepper & tabasco sauce for mexican night out. Seriously, though, I'm willing to do anything if it helps the surgery be easier to perform for the docs and to get over for me! See you on the 15th!
