Hello to all my friends! I hope everyone is doing as well as I am. I have knocked off 40.6 lbs. in the past five weeks and feel pretty darn good. I have went from a 22 in jeans to a 18 so far. I am almost to the 16. YEH!!! I have lost several inches but will not know how many till I go to my post op appointment on October 22nd. I will let everyone know when I find out. My life is so wonderful right now. I have met a wonderful man that is an inspiration in my life. He is awesome and I can see myself spending the rest of my life with him. I never thought I would say that again. Finally I found someone that accepts my flaws. I am truly blessed. Also, I have not taken any insulin at all and my blood sugar is wonderful. Five shots per day to none at all. YEH!!! Bllod sugar has went from 300-450 to 80. Talk to you later...God Bless You All!!! Still keep me in your prayers. Kim  

Hello all. Today is 6 days since surgery. I am down 14 lbs. since Sunday..YEH!!!! I am feeling alot better but still have quite abit of pain on my left side. I am trying not to take that much of my liquid lortab. Everything is staying down and I am not hungry. I get a little lonely here, but its okay. Will add more later. Love ya, Kim

Hello all. Today is Sunday and I got home around 3 this afternoon after a long 4 hour drive from Carmel Indiana. My surgery was said to be a Textbook Surgery with no complications. I had a rough night the night of surgery and half of the next day. Everything I eat and drink is staying down. The doctor said I was doing excellent. I am very sore today due to gas also that I can not get rid of. I wanted to update you all and tell you to please keep me in your prayers. Love ya all, Kim

Hello all. Tomorrow is the big day. Oh I am so nervous. My chest hurts, my head hurts, my belly hurts. What else can hurt? I am so anxious though. I am ready for the weight to come off and be healthy again. I hope all my friends and family can put up with me after wards. Everyone remember to say an extra prayer. I will post more later. Time is getting closer and the fear is setting in a little. What a life altering surgery.... I just got back two days ago from my pre-op class. My brother was freaked out, but I think I will be okay other that a little fear. The idea of being healthy is wonderful. I would be lying if I said that the idea of all that weight coming off wasn't on my mind and a priority. Everyone please keep me in your prayers and God Bless You! Kim
