2 Steps Forward and 1 step back?

So I was sick last week and there was no way I could work out.  I had a horrible sore throat and anytime I excerted myself I would start hacking.  I started working out again on Wednesday.  I decided to start slow and do the tread mill.  Which is great I love working out give me time to think and to myself.  Other then while at work.  But I am at that time of the month and have found it impossible to curve my chocolate/pastry cravings!  This is gonna be my down fall.  I haven't been on the scale since last wednesday.  I had gained 2 lbs back.  I am so confused at what to do; I am offically starting my food diary today.  Should be interesting.
