"My first impression was that Dr. Aceves was a very nice caring man that was extremely knowledgeable in the area of Bariatric surgery. Don't get me wrong I was very skeptical about traveling south of th border for any procedure but after months of research and talking to over a dozen of his patients I knew I made the right decision. The hospital and staff were much nicer then any place I have been to in the states. And Dr. Aceves personally came into my room more times then I could count just to check and see that I was okay and cared for. Even though he had other patients to care for he remembered my mothers name and checked on her several times asking if she had any questions or fears that she wanted to discuss with him.rnYou can tell right off the bat that Dr. Aceves is a genuine and caring individual that wants the best for his patients, he is devoted to their after care and he personally gives you his cell number just in case you have any questions. The entire experience was the best I have ever had. Not only was his surgical competence superb but his bedside manner was impeccable. I would recommend him not only to self payers like myself but to anyone that wants to have the best experience during their weight loss journey. rnThe only negative is that I wish he was closer."
