Hi Linda-I am the one who posted the question about the Micropouch operation because I have yet to find many who have had that type of surgery done-I had mine done here in NYC with Dr. Sapala (he is excellent) on April 7, 2005 and I have lost 42 lbs in 33 days already. I started at 288 so I am excited but i hate the fact that I , at times, am so scared to eat. I guess I will get over it--Well thanks for answering me and keep melting away--GOOD 4 U!!!! Barby

Hi All, I'm 10 days out, 13 pounds lighter and feeling much stronger and better. My staples come out tommorrow and I will get to move on to the full liquid diet. I'm glad because popsicles and jello are getting boring. Linda

Congratulations on getting through the approval process, Your big day is next and then you will be on the losing side. Try to hang in there and stay focused and take one day at a time. Remember your AMOS friends are always here for support. 24-7~*~Hugs~*

1 week post-op for me and I'm feeling a little scared. How long does this gas last? I could use some words of encourgement.
