My weight gain started about 8 years ago I started taking a anxiety/depression medicine and it really worked at least I thought it was, but then the weight started piling on like crazy... even though it took the depression away, I was still not the same person as when I was raising my kids, no energy NOTHING... I completely let myself go, and then four years ago a friend of mine had the surgery, & she looked great!! so fast forward to August 2010 I went in for a medication refill appt: & I had asked my Doctor about the RNY & she said she would send a refferal out, and see what happens... well a month or two later I had an Appt: with Kaiser Doctor so I was approved, then that was all I heard until February 2011, I started my 12 week classes & LOVED them, so I finished those in April 2011, got my APPT: to speak to my Surgeon Dr. Zorn, A Internist & A psychiatrist in San Diego... & May 2011 I FINALLY got my Surgery date... October 7, 2011 it has been a LONG hard road but I am excited, nervous, scared to death... everything you can imagine.... and one more thing I have been to alot of Support groups in my area & that is where everything just comes together.... love them....
