IT HAS BEEN 9 YEARS YEAH!!!!!!!  I am so blessed when I think of ALL  I have been through. I am encouraged to tell EVERYONE TO HANG IN THERE IT IS WORTH IT!!!!!!!   

YOU ARE WORTH  IT !!!!!   REMEMBER TO LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTORS AND DO YOUR RESEARCH IT PAYS TO BE INFORMED. ASK PLENTY OF QUESTIONS KNOW QUESTION IS CRAZY :)

God Bless Everyone just checking in still holding on and doing GREAT in will be 8 years for me September 13th and i feel Great. I have kept off my weight and with the Help of the LORD . I just feel Blessed stay encouraged and be Blessed EVERYONE

WOW  IT HAS BEEN 6 YEARS SINCE I HAD MY RNY-GASTRIC BYPASS . I FEEL SO BLESSED,GOD HAS BEEN SO GOOD. I HAVE MAINTAINED MY WEIGHT WITH THE HELP OF GOD I STARTED THIS JOURNEY AT 282 AND HAVE STAYED AT 175 FOR ALL THESE YEARS. THE SMALLEST I HAVE EVER GOTTEN WAS 154LBS AND THAT WAS BECAUSE I WAS REALLY STRESSED ABOUT THE DEATH OF MY MOTHER. I EXECISE BY WALKING EVERY OTHER DAY, I ENJOY THE OUTDOORS I HAVE JUST RETIRED SO I HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO GARDEN,AND ENJOY LIFE. I LOVE MY FAMILY AND I THANK GOD FOR THE SURGERY . IF I HAD TO DO IT AGAIN I WOULD I PRAY THAT EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS IT IS NOT JUST ABOUT THE CHANGES IN YOUR BODY IT IS ALSO ABOUT THE CHANGES IN YOUR MIND. YOU MUST CHANGE HOW YOU VIEW YOUR LIFE. WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT TO YOU? WHO IS IMPORTANT TO YOU? REALLY ARE THE PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE BLESSING YOU OR BLOCKING YOUR BLESSING MAY GOD BE WITH YOU ALL

God is so good I have been blessed with so much in my life but I thank God for My Health. This RNY Surg. has been the best thing I have ever done and I know God Blessed me. Everything went very smooth through the whole  process it was 9/13/2006 when I had my surg. and so much has changed, I am (A PROUD GASTRIC BYPASS PATIENT) I Tell everyone who ask me about the surgery but I tell them this: you can not do this for ANYONE other then YOURSELF because you are the one who is going to go through ALL the changes nobody but YOU and Everyone will not understand what you are going through thats why you will need to have FAITH in GOD to see you through . Because this is just the beginning there really is so much more to come be patient with youeself and others and remember why you made this choice you are worth it so people please stay Blessed and know that God loves You

It has   been awhile since I last posted on here and i am sorry for that. We my family and I have been doing WELL, my husband has been doing Great he had his RNY on 9-22-11 and as of this day has lost 130lbs he started out 421lbs. HE said he has a ways to go!!!!! Me I am encouraged by Him, I  had my surgery RNY 9-13-06 and my starting weight was 278 I have lost 103 and kept it off,ONLY WITH THE HELP OF GOD!!!!!!  I still have a goal of 145lbs, and I REFUSE to GIVE UP . I saw a video of the Worlds Oldest BodyBuilder she was 74 years old, she didn't start weight lifting until she was 56 years old. I am 52 years old so I have no excuse, I MUST GET BUSY. IN EVERYTHING YOU DO YOU MUST PUT GOD FIRST: BECOME DEDICATED: DETERMINED: AND LET GOD LEAD YOU IN IT ALL. I PRAY YOUR STRENGHT AS YOU GO FORWARD IN THIS JOURNEY. PLEASE UNDERSTAND IT IS A PERSONAL JOURNEY AND ONLY YOU CAN GO THROUGH THIS SO LET GOD GUIDE YOU IN IT ALL         BE BLESSED EVERYONE

 WOW!!!!! it has been a long time and everything is GREAT. MY husband had his RNY done in 9/22/10 and he is doing GREAT. it has been almost 5 years since I had my surgery and I am blessed. I went from being 278 to 155 my lowest weight right now I am 172 and I would LOVE to be back at 155 so I have got to get to WORK any way BE blessed EVERYONE

 I just wanted to update everyone on my progress, it has been 4 years and I am still hanging in there. With Gods help I know All things my family is Great also. My husband went in for his surgery to day he is having a RNY gastric bypass doings are possible well that was it.Be Blessed
