I should have posted this sooner, but I have been spending so much time trying to prepare for this surgery!!  My sleeve was originally scheduled for 1/16/12, but I realized that I had several things scheduled that week (hockey games for our local team and a Booster Club meeting....I know!) so I asked to have the surgery moved back 1 week.  So now my surgery date is 1/23/12.......exactly 2 weeks from today.  Yoday I went to Costco and bought 3 boxes of the Premier Liquid Protein Drink; tomorrow I am going to GNC for Isopure.  This prep stuff takes alot of work, but I want to be ready and not have to worry about running out to get something I need.  PS...got my Chapstick too :)

Today I had my surgery consultation and got my date........January 16, 2012!!  I can't believe that I started the Options classes in July, 2011...what seems like a long time ago.  I know that in the big scheme of things this is just a short time in my journey.  But, I am on my way.  I am excited, happy and kinda nervous; after all it is surgery.  But I know that this is what is best of my body and my life.  1 month to go!!
