Hello All,

Just wanted to do a quick update, I am getting very excited about my upcoming surgery date. My husband Mike had his surgery yesterday with Dr. Coirin, and everything went perfect! I am so happy for him, and cannot wait to get him home! I have been diligent about keeping to the caffeine free, coffee free, diet Pepsi free, lifestyle. Today it has been rough, I guess that is why I am talking about it now! I honestly have to say if there are any of you who have not quit on any of the mentioned, DO IT NOW.... It will make the transformation come surgery time much easier. As the nutritionists tell you, the last thing you want to be dealing with in the hospital is caffeine withdrawals on top of everything else. Beside you cannot have carbonated drinks post-op anyway. Well I had better get back to work now. I have one more thing to say, "HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, IT'S SUNNY OUTSIDE"!!!!

I am so excited, I received my phone call from Dr. Coirin's office yesterday, and I was approved for surgery! I was able to schedule my surgery for the 18th of March, 2004. I am so thrilled this will give me a chance to get all matters in line at home as well work prior to my date. I also need to be available to assist my dear husband Mike through his surgery, which is scheduled for March 4th! To all of you waiting for your surgery date keep your chin up the process seems to fly by! Till next time- Kristie
